Production systems
We design and install Synchronized TACT Production: a single visible beat, back-calculated from the delivery date and built up from the working teams’ own procedures, with engineering, procurement and production all working to it.
One beat for the whole yard, from steel cutting to sea trial.
When to call us
You may recognize these.
- Work waits on drawings or material that arrive late.
- Trades collide in the same space, and crews remobilize every shift.
- The dock swings between peak load and idleness.
- Recutting and rework are passed from one stage to the next.
What we do
The work, step by step
- 01
TACT line design
Panel and curved-block lines, grand-module assembly and the dock set to one beat, each station sized to what it must deliver every day.
- 02
Zone breakdown and team procedures
Work divided into zones a single team can control, with Detailed Work Procedures written by the teams themselves.
- 03
EPP integration and design for production
Engineering and procurement subordinated to the production beat, so that the quantity of work itself shrinks.
- 04
Accuracy control
Dimensions held upstream so that blocks, even 400-tonne mega-blocks, are erected in a single setting.
- 05
Grand modulization
Dock work moved upstream into a grand-module factory, so the dock becomes a place of integration, not construction.
How we usually engage
Often a project recovery on one line or one ship, then a yard transformation.
